What we store

• Account email and authentication identifiers
• Your saved channel access and channels you follow
• Your likes, dislikes, saved videos, and reports
• Watch progress and basic viewing history for Continue Watching, cross-device resume, and personalized For You recommendations

On a shared kiosk, local playback progress is separated by signed-in account and cleared when a different user signs in or the current user signs out.

How watch history is used

YidTube uses your own activity to avoid immediately repeating videos, resume unfinished videos, prioritize channels and topics you choose, and make the For You feed more relevant. We do not display a private profile or recommendation score to other users.

You can use the Latest and Older Videos feeds without relying on personalized ranking. You may request deletion of your account and associated watch data at any time by contacting us.

Google user data

When you choose Sign in with Google, we access limited Google account information to sign you in.

Data accessed

• Google account email address
• Basic profile information, such as name and profile picture

YouTube permissions

If you enable in-site Subscribe, YidTube requests permission to perform the subscription action on your behalf. That permission is used only when you explicitly click Subscribe.

• We do not sell, rent, or share Google or YouTube user data with third parties.
• You can revoke Google access at any time in your Google Account security settings.
• We do not access Gmail, Google Drive, Contacts, Calendar, or your Google password.

Retention and deletion

We retain account data while your account is active or as needed to provide the features you use. You may request account deletion and data removal at any time by contacting us.

What we do not do

• We do not sell personal data.
• We do not use Google user data for advertising.
• We do not run third-party ad trackers by default.
