Hasidic Melodies is a historical archive dedicated exclusively to pre-Holocaust Hasidic worship music from Eastern and Central Europe. The channel preserves rare Hasidic niggunim, Jewish prayer melodies, Shabbat and festival hymns, wordless devotional music, marches and waltzes associated with historic Hasidic courts and composers. Many recordings were previously unavailable on YouTube. Each upload is researched individually. Descriptions identify the melody, composer or traditional attribution, Hasidic court or community, prayer or occasion, source recording, album, performer and arranger whenever this information can be verified. Disputed or uncertain attributions are stated clearly.
